NHEdLaw's mission is to improve the quality of education for all students by providing information, training and resources.

Profile

Attorney Scott F. Johnson founded New Hampshire Education Law (NHEdLaw)  in 2003 to provide resources and information about education law topics to help parents, educators and other professionals in New Hampshire understand legal requirements and meet student needs. Attorney  Johnson is a Professor of Law with Concord Law School and an Adjunct Professor of Law at Franklin Pierce Law Center where he teaches education law courses. He is also a hearing officer for the New Hampshire Department of Education.

 

Attorney Johnson  is also the founder of the Education Law Resource Center, which provides information on a national level about education law and focuses on topics like physical restraints in schools and assistive technology.

 

Attorney Johnson is the author of  the New Hampshire Special Education Law Manual:  A Guide for Parents, Educators, & Professionals and  Preventing Physical Restraints in Schools: A Guide for Parents, Educators & Professionals.
